CAN YOU RESTORE AND UPHOLSTER CLASSIC FURNITURE?

Not only does Collards Upholstery manufacture the classic English deep diamond buttoned Chesterfield style furniture in the traditional way, offering the best there is on the market in terms of quality but our upholsterers undertake refurbishments and restorations of this classical English furniture.
Collards Upholstery uses premium quality leather from renowned manufacturers including Andrew Muirhead, Yarwoods and Bridge of Weir, Crest JMT, Futura leathers and Wildman and Bugby leathers.

WHAT AREA DO YOU COVER?

We work with anybody within the South East, and have exceptionally worked on big projects outside the UK.
We will personally deliver your piece of bespoke furniture to your door-step, in order to ensure the quality and integrity of our work until it reaches your hands.
We are based in Essex and Kent, and therefore additionally cover Inner London, Sussex and Surrey.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REUPHOLSTER A PIECE OF FURNITURE?

One of the great benefits of upholstery is that it is significantly faster than commissioning new furniture. Expect a piece of furniture to take anywhere from 5-15 days, depending on the complexity. Once we have a better idea of your project we’ll let you have a better idea of timings.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

To sit down and start working we’ll need to know the design you have in mind, including colours and styles etc. Perhaps you have photographs or images of similar pieces? Maybe you could sketch it? Don’t be afraid to do this as it gives us a great starting place, and we can provide suggestions based on our experience. Also have a think about the materials you’d like to use too.
